 | Nicholas Martin is an accomplished Tenor and Singing Teacher from Gibraltar. In 1999 he graduated from Canterbury Christ Church University with a combined Honours degree in Music and Art and in 2001 completed a Masters degree in Music Performance. Nicholas continued his studies at Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Professor Brian Parsons and was awarded the Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Vocal Training. Nicholas Martin has performed as a soloist in the UK and Europe. TV and radio broadcasts include performances on Meridian Television, Gibraltar National Television and Spanish Television. He has an extensive repertoire which includes Early Music, Operetta, Opera, Neapolitan Songs and more. He is an accomplished linguist fluent in Spanish, English, Italian and Portuguese. Nicholas has great empathy with the Latin and Hispanic repertoire and his performances of this genre have been critically acclaimed. Nicholas is in great demand both as a performer and for his detailed understanding of all vocal styles. These encompass Musical Theatre, Pop, Rock, Jazz and Classical, focusing on their respective vocal techniques. He has received high praise for his many workshops at the prestigious Royal Central School of Speech & Drama and other comparable institutes. |
